All of our physiotherapists are members of the
Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and are registered with
the Health Professional's Council (HPC). We are all members of various
special interest groups to help ensure that we keep up to date with
the latest developments and research within our specialist areas,

Completed Masters Degree in 2001n
Specialist physio for women's health and pelvic floor dysfunction
Experienced Pilates instructor carrying out core rehabilitiation, 1:1 sessions for spinal problems and sports injuries as well as for the ante-natal and post-natal periods
Treats mens health conditions such as incontinence and issues that may follow a prostatectomy
Qualified to carry out acupuncture and cupping
Andrew Powell
Qualified in Glasgow in 2004
Lectured in Applied Sport and Exercise Biomechanics at Roehampton University London. Worked at Addenbrookes Hospital and for various sports inc Northampton Saints England Development Group, Cambridge University Rugby
Special interest in advanced rehabilitation
Physio for the Cambridge University Boat Crew and is based at our clinic in the Goldie Boatclub

Angela George
Qualified in 2004 from University of Manchester
Worked at Addenbrookes Hospital, joined SCP in 2007, completed Masters in 2011
Lead physio for Shelfrod Rugby Club plus covers both juniors and senior teams for Cambs Rugby and Eastern Counties Rugby
Special interest in sports injuries and shoulder problems and is one of the physio for GB Ultimate Frisbee teams, travelling with them to the European Championships.

Julie Taylor
Qualified from Oxford Brookes University in 2002 & joined SCP in 2010
Experienced Pilates Instructor, carries out 1:1 for spinal problems, rehabilitation following accidents, surgery or injuries (including sports). Also carries out group Pilates at Sawston Health Centre
Involved with physio for Shelford Rugby Club
Special interest – musculo skeletal problems

Nick Rowe
Qualified in 2005 from Brighton
Specialises in sports injuries, spinal problems and rehabilitation
Also works for the Armed Forces and is studying for his Masters
Works evenings and Saturdays at Hauxton practice
Alison Parkes
Joined SCP in 2006 from the John Ratcliff Hospital Oxford
Respiratory specialist including hyperventilation plus asthma management for the general population including children and athletes
