South Cambs Physios like to prove we don’t just advise you on your fitness and sport – we can do it too. Congratulations to Andy and Damaris, aka Tight and Bright, who successfully participated in and completed this year’s Norfolk Superhero Challenge – a gruelling 1 mile sea swim, 3 mile kayak, 45 mile cycle ride and 8 miles of running on sand and marsh.

Known as Ultimate Frisbee in the UK and Flying Discs in Japan! For amazing action photos see the World Ultimate and Guts Championships (what a great name). South Cambs Physio Angela George is with the medical team for the GB Ultimate Frisbee Squad.

She emails to say that they are having a fantastic time ” just arrived in Osaka after travelling round Tokyo and Kyoto. An amazing place, the Japanese are so friendly despite the language barriers. We went to Mt Fuji but it was cloudy so couldn’t see the summit. Meeting up with the players this evening – then the hard work begins!! Tournament starts on Saturday, first game for GB on Sunday”.

Julie is back from Borneo – and engaged!

Julie returns to the practice this week from her 7 week trip to Borneo. Her clinics and pilates classes resume from Tuesday 19th. Congratulations on her engagement to Mark!
