South Cambridge Physiotherapy looks after the Cambridge University Mens and Ladies elite crews.  Around the clinic time set aside for the rowers, we have  some available physio and sports therapy appointments: these are for anyone to attend, general public, the non sporty injured person for example, whether your pain is as a result of gardening, surgery, medical conditions, an accident, your hobby, work, what ever the cause, we may be able to help you improve and recover.

You do not need a GP referral unless you are claiming through an insurance policy that stipulates that you do. Please check your policy details.

The University Boat Club address is :

The clinic is up one flight of stairs, which you will need to be able to manage if coming to this clinic. The Hauxton clinic has no steps if that would suit you better.

By Car: There are sections of metered parking on the roads by the boat club, 50p per half an hour. Sometimes the ticket machine is in between a residential and public section – please make sure you do not park in a residential section, the parking fees start at 9am. Then make your way to Kimberley Road,  see info below. There is very limited car parking by the Goldie Boat Club, you  access it by following Kimberely Road, driving VERY SLOWLY along the river frontage, bear in mind that there is limited space to turn your car around, plus at certain times of the day it is very busy with all the rowers.

Kimberley Road, walk, cycle (car) at the end of the road there is a 5 mile an hour sign on the wall,  follow the narrowed road round to the left which brings you out onto the river frontage between the Cambridge City Boathouse on your left and The Cambridge 99’s on the right. Turn left, if you count the City Boathouse as number one then the Goldie Boat club is the 4th one along. Go around the back of the building and up the stairs.

From the South, over one of the bridges ! If the one by the Fort St George Public House – over the bridge onto Pretoria Rd, 1st right onto Aylestone Rd, 1st right onto Kimberley Rd  – then as above.

If you are unsure – press “view larger map” and keep enlarging the map  – the names of the boat houses come up.
